Ipswich prison diary, [ca. 1935].

Typed carbon transcript of a diary written by Timothy M. Joy during his incarceration in Ipswich Prison in Salem, Massachusetts, from March 21 to June 2, 1812. The first page contains a holograph signed note by James R. Joy, explaining the circumstances of Timothy Joy's imprisonment. Accompanied by photocopies of the first and last pages of the holograph diary.
